i tried out for a dance show yesterday, and i made it! perhaps by the skin of my teeth, but i made it! i will be performing in VOW: Voices of Women for U-turn Dance. i got the teaching job!!!

I will be teaching dance at New Dimensions High School in Kissimmee, FL.  It's a charter school.  I will be getting paid $33,400.  That's a lot more than i have been getting paid at Universal!!!  And it's for teaching dance!  The only downside is the drive...it's a hour away from my apartment.  But the money is good and it' ( Read more... )

the dance studio has only given me 5 classes next year compared to 10 last year.  i've also been stripped of my troupe responsbilites.  well, i guess he's just trying to push me out of the studio.  that's fine.  he's a dick anyway.  i don't know if i have any friends there anyway.

the owner of the dance studio gave me competition team to the most unreliable teacher at the studio.  she has her own company of hip hop/breakers that she directs on tuesday and sunday.  there's a direct conflict there.  Her team meet on the west side of Orlando near Universal, the studio is near UCF which is in East Orlando.  At least a 30 minute ( Read more... )
