We got pictures of our lovebird today! Our breeder sends out updates and photos of your specific bird, which is great fun thus far. Ours is adorable, though totally mugging for the camera. He's not weaned yet, so it'll still be a few weeks, but it's nice to get news as he grows.

We got a second set of babies in the nest outside our window. These guys hatched while I was in LA and opened their eyes sometime during the week I came back. So adorable! They're just now going from 'cute, wheezy little peeps' to 'yelling at mom for more grub', but they let us peek in on them a bunch, so I don't mind. Totally adorable, and they ( Read more... )
