Things that make me happy, day three: I read seventy pages or so of a fairly slow-moving (interesting, mind you, but slow) book without getting bored this afternoon! Which doesn't sound like a big deal, and it wouldn't have been a year ago, but this last semester my attention span just shrank to almost nothing. It seems to be coming back. :)

Stuff-that-makes-me-happy, day two (special birthday edition!): I got my P-plates! I haven't had a chance to go driving yet, my parents both took their cars to work with them, but I'm taking Mum's this afternoon.

Today I went to Lifeline and got a good two hours' work done (and got to help a new volunteer! hee, I feel less new now), finished my book (go! keep me company in my nerdiness), went to the markets, found some new recipes and didn't feel bad all day. This is good.
