Stuff-that-makes-me-happy, day two (special birthday edition!): I got my P-plates! I haven't had a chance to go driving yet, my parents both took their cars to work with them, but I'm taking Mum's this afternoon.

• having car keys;
• feeling polite when I allow someone to overtake me.

• going downhill;

• little old men who laugh at me through their open windows;
• my mother clinging to her seat.

I've never really made new years' resolutions, but I'd been thinking of writing a list of things that I was going to do in 2008, resolution or not.
