Over two weeks since my last update. Already failing my New Year resolution. I have a half-written essay on gun control, but it's not finished yet.

Livejournal, you're back! How I've missed you.

I'm back. Surgery went well, no evidence of pathology. I won't be able to lift anything as heavy or heavier than a milk carton until next week, but I'm moving around a lot better, and am back on-line.

Do you realize this year that for two non-consecutive minutes in November it will be 11/11/11, 11:11?

Yeah, numerology seemed to be the only way to go with this post. ;-)
