This is the home stretch, the part of the school year that everyone anxiously awaits because it means that summer is just around the corner. Summer- the time of year that once symbolized relaxation and afternoons spent doing nothing. It hit me today, while Jessie (my "little sister) was getting ready for prom, just how much things have changed and are changing. I'm home, sitting on my bed and thinking over the day and all that comes to mind is that I am glad to be home, truly glad to be home. I think I just needed to see my parents and receive a bit of confirmation, from them, that I can make it through the rest of the school year and to just reaffirm the fact that they will be proud of me no matter what ( Read more... )

I can honestly say, right now, that I am disappointed in myself. More than disappointed in myself, actually. I'm sick of myself and everything that I seem to be at this given moment. One thing I dislike about myself is how cool I can be at times. I know why I am like this (I know it all too well); I just wish I knew how to tell other people why without sounding like a beast.

Maybe its just this week. Everything is getting to me this week, and I mean- everything.

I just want to be home.

I bombed my childhood development test with a 56. Since I had a C on the last test, I won't be able to pull a B in the class, even if I get an A on the final. This sucks and is going to kill my GPA, again, and make it so I don't have a 3.0 this semester. Can I just say that school sucks right now? Because it does, really badly ( Read more... )
