This morning, all I was planning on doing was helping my mother clean the kitchen. But one of my friends called me, and as it turns out, my youth group had decided to go to our local mall and see a movie. So that was how I ended up going to see X3 a long time before I thought I was going to. My thoughts are below the cut.

That's right, folks. Exam time. Despite wonderful West Wing episodes and a new PotterCast to listen to, I don't forsee many updates in the next few days. After Friday, I will be singing post-testing praises, but until then, au revoir.

Lately I've been thinking about the similarities my favorite authors and screenwriters share. I can draw parallels to so many other wonderful novels from Harry Potter. JKR often advises in her interviews that aspriring authors should read constantly, and as an aspiring author myself, I would heartily second this suggestion ( Read more... )

I finished the mile in 11 minutes, 30 seconds, and then had to walk around for a long time before my friend would let me drink water. Ugh. Today reminded me of why I loathe running. *still feels ill*

Could any of you rec me some good fic? I would prefer post-HBP Ron/Hermione one-shots, but I really just need something to keep me up until Justice League comes on.
