How much do I love that JKR referred to Hermione as one of Harry's two sidekicks at the press conference? Seriously.

I go away for a week, and the fandom explodes. Well, not really, but here I am listening to the latest MuggleCast, and apparently the media has gone crazy over JKR's interview on Richard and Judy. Lately I've been thinking about the similarities my favorite authors and screenwriters share. I can draw parallels to so many other wonderful novels from Harry Potter. JKR often advises in her interviews that aspriring authors should read constantly, and as an aspiring author myself, I would heartily second this suggestion ( Read more... )
