March 21, Ellen Klages drove me and Nalo Hopkinson and David Findlay from Orlando to Gainesville so we could visit MJ Hardman and her husband, Dimas Bautista. I've spoken at length with Dr. MJ Hardman during the last couple of days. She now has a name for the damn-near fatal "event" that put her in the hospital. It was a bilateral pulmonary embolic shower. Hundreds of blood clots formed in her lungs. One clot is enough to kill a person ( Read more... )

Mere moments ago I read a message from a member of the WisCon 35 Troika saying I will be that convention's only GOH, per their parent organization, SF3.

It is now officially All About Me.

I checked on the WisCon 35 website, and there are still two GOH listed. But I believe that is going to get updated. I believe I'm it.

MJ Hardman called me this morning! It was so good to hear her voice. She has been out of the hospital a week, and is ready to read emails her friends send and yell at her parrot while talking on the phone.
