Yesterday? Forecasts called for 53 degrees. Don't think we ever saw that, though. Highest I saw on my cell phone was 49 degrees. Amazed that wasn't a record- but not even close. Took this week off for vacation. Traditionally, probably for the past 15-20 years, I always managed to get sick around this time. So far this year, I've managed to remain healthy *knocks on wood*. I had a pneumonia shot last year, got an early flu shot this year and started taking Zicam products in late October, just before Halloween. Here's hoping ( Read more... )

The weather was just lovely this weekend- not too hot, not too cool, no rain... just perfect. Didn't do too much yesterday, other than declutter the dining room table. Didn't feel terrific in the morning, had a touch of gastrics. Oh well, doing better today. Hope to get in a swim after updating my reading list ( Read more... )
