I continue to burrow into my data.  I moved some more photos into Picasa tonight, and got distracted watching home movies of The Niece as a baby and toddler.  These files had been "corrupted" in Windows XP, but Windows 7 is able to handle them.  Yay!  Much relief!  God, what an adorable kid ( Read more... )

Update: apparently, I saw an IDIOT at Geek Squad on Monday night.  He never bothered to try a different power cord with my laptop - all he did was try my power cord with a different laptop.  Which is all well and good, but it turns out that is not the correct cord for my laptop.  Had he taken 30 seconds to realize this, I wouldn't have had to drive ( Read more... )
