Days like today are frustrating. At work I think 'I'm glad I'm moving...' In the evening I'm thinking 'why does everything good have to happen now? Why not a year or two ago?' My days in SA are now limited, because on July 20* I will be reporting for work over in Seattle. I'm still with the same company so it's more of a transfer. So many things to do... sell the house, take a trip up there to find somewhere temporary to stay, move two cars across the country. It's exciting though, things are going great now. I got good news about the tire today - it wasn't damaged yesterday so the bill for repair (a new valve stem) came out to a whopping $2.00. Also topped off the a/c today and the air came out about 50 degrees when I took the car out this evening. The Porsche is good to go again ( Read more... )

I spent most of today working on installing the new clutch in the Porsche. It all worked out allright. No broken bolts, stripped heads, or anything nasty like that. The bolts holding the transaxle to the torque tube felt about like they were tightened by King Kong but that's nothing a bigger bar couldn't fix. It all was going according to plan ( Read more... )
