Nearly a month already?
Well what's going on these days... guess it's best to pick up where I left off. In order of what I posted:
- The a/c in the Porsche blows really cold now but I think it's capable of a little more. 100 degree days can't be that far off.
- Work is fine now.
- Family came and went.
- Sarah: She is very busy these days. We've talked on the phone but she has been busy to the point that it's been about 4 weeks since I've seen her. Not like either of us is mad or there's anything more to read into this; she's honestly that busy. Sometimes things are what they are.
What else did I write about... her other dogs didn't get sick since we bleached the heck out of everything before life overtook her (thanks for the help, Meg! :) ) Aaaand the truck is now safety inspected. The whole fleet is 100% legal now.
Now the present:
Not a lot going on now. I'm trying to get into grad school - I had planned on getting in starting this summer but now there isn't enough time left to take the stupid test (my fault for thinking I was going to take it next weekend... AKA the day before Easter!). I see it as yet another standardized test. Whoopee. It would be nice if they'd take my GRE scores or the fact that I've already gone to grad school, but whatever. I'll play the game. The school is UTSA, by the way. MBA program. Anyway I can tell that negotiating prerequisites I've already taken equivilants for back at A&M will be fun, but I'm armed with syllabuses and course descriptions from classes I took and I'm not worried.
The whole school thing is kind of funny. There's someone I met who is in the program I'm going into who I'm at the point that I'd like to get to know better but I'm pretty sure she just started dating a friend of mine. What do they say... a day late and a dollar short? Whatever. It's just my luck though. Guess I'll find out in a couple of days when I *hopefully* meet up with her to pick up the book.
This town is frustrating. There really aren't a whole lot of people that I actually get interested in, but if I wind up going to school I'm here until about the end of 07.
