I think it's fair to say that Sal and I have had some trouble with stairs, sitting and walking the last 2 days!
Yesterday we went for a massage, then a lovely lunch. My apple watch had the temerity to keep telling me to stand up and move :-)

Also plenty of time for photos of the finishers t-shirt and the medal!

What a day! Where do I start? Warning, many photos to follow :-)

tldr: we had a great day, very slow, but finished strong and smiling!

Getting there....We left home at 8am, after the obligatory photo, and found our first fellow runner at the local station! Changed at Westminster for London Bridge, and found many more runners. Got off at London ( Read more... )

Sal and I are just back from the Marathon Expo at ExCel. I was clever enough to plan and fly into London City, which is just a few DLR stops away from ExCel (I've been there more recently for the Learning Technology Conference ( Read more... )
