This Christmas eve the boys still hung stockings (new ones, since they lost one of mine last year!), Santa still got his whisky and mince pie offering, I still wrapped the presents in a mad rush, late this evening!

When I was back in the office the end of January, my Zurich colleague gave me my Christmas parcel from my lovely friend in Wroclaw. It was a super haul, in a lovely super heroes bag and I was thrilled.

I very much enjoyed eating all the treats over the last weeks. Yes, I hid the treats. No, I didn't share them :-)

Normally I love Christmas, but this year I have spent it mostly in bed, sick with grief, with a cold, with no ability to get up and do or be. Oh, plus a chunk of a tooth fell out - 2 Dentist emergency sessions and CHF 1400 later, I now have my first ever crown ( Read more... )

I love the fact that our family Christmasses here in Zurich are very predicatable.

We've found our festive rhythm and we stick to it..

A nice addition this year was the Christmas challenge my sister sent us - boxes full of goodies and things to do...
