When I was back in the office the end of January, my Zurich colleague gave me my Christmas parcel from my lovely friend in Wroclaw. It was a super haul, in a lovely super heroes bag and I was thrilled.
I very much enjoyed eating all the treats over the last weeks. Yes, I hid the treats. No, I didn't share them :-)
Anyway, most things were obvious. Things to eat. Things for the body. In the midst of the goodies was a cream coloured block, wrapped in cellphane. Highlighted orange in the pic. I put it to one side in the bathroom, until I came back from a run and thought, aha, it's a bath bomb. I ran a bath. I threw it in. It bobbed around, nothing happened.
I pulled it out of the bath, it felt a bit greasy. I thought - aha, it's soap. It sat on our basin. ?atrick says "I don't think that's soap!". I ignored him. I used it a few times. It didn't really lather.
Fast forward a day or two, when I looked at the "soap" in the clear light of day, and realized there was a wick sticking out. "Aha, it's a candle!" Mystery solved. I let it dry out, lit it, smelt wonderful. Over a couple of days it burnt down and I WA-ed my friend to thank her again for the presents, and (now particularly) the candle!
The conversation went like this...
So that was today's discovery. As my Dad would say "if you had a brain, you would be dangerous"
