I worked out last Friday after work for an hour, and then Monday & Tuesday for an hour each, went Thursday for 2 hours & tonight for an hour - 6 hours this week. I was happy the classes weren't cancelled for the snowstorm on Thurs - so many other things I had considered doing that night were cancelled. It was a good week ( Read more... ) -
random things I wanted to share
- I think I drink coffee just to have something warm in my hands. I went through a cocoa stage when I was younger, but it's just too sweet. I try tea - I like it an it's kinda a goal of mine to transition from coffee to tea. Habits are hard to change though.

I LOVE weekends!
Friday I saved a family of 1 mama & 15 confused fuzzy ducklings as they walked out onto Hwy 55 admid lots of traffic - in front of my car (making me stop) then they hovered there unable to move as cars passed on the left & right until it cleared ... then they were in the 2nd lane I followed them over playing "car sheep-dog/blockade" from distant ( Read more... ) -
Apocalyptica - I love these guys.
For those curious - here's a video by Apocalyptica - the show was fantastic. Maybe it's the Finnish blood in me, but these 4 guys from Finland who play cellos totally float my boat. *grin* What talent. little post
- worked out for 30 mins on weights - mostly arms, little abs & thigh work
did elliptical then for 25 mins.
- found out "Dream Theater" & "Opeth" are coming to MN State Theater - that would be really sweet to see; also w/a group I don't know called "Between the Buried and Me"
- I counted calories for 2 days & did hit my goal - wasn't actually too hard ( Read more... )
