We are leaving for Crete tomorrow, and I have been busy packing almost the whole day. I also took Asterix and the terrarium to the SO's daughter's place as she promised to look after him for the week. My uncle will feed the cats. Asterix the lizard seems to like the new, smaller crickets better than the previous ones. He ate three today, went after them the moment I set them down. I guess they are easier to swallow. They are also less intelligent, and don't understand to run or hide.

The lizard Asterix still didn't seem to eat much over the weekend. I hope he will have a cricket today... The crickets, on the other hand, prosper. I moved them into another box to clean the one they were in, as they make a terrible mess, and took two crickets in a separate box to be the lizard's meal. The terrarium I had ordered over two weeks ago arrived today, and since mother had a day off, we went to pick it up. Since I also had to find a lizard, now that I had a terrarium, I called several animal shops and finally managed to locate a suitable gecko. We went to pick it up, too.

I was going to buy a lizard, and had everything ready for it, but then the seller said that she was going to sell the lizard to someone else instead.

I was afraid something like that might happen. Well, I guess I shouldn't have gotten excited about the lizard like I did... Would make this easier.
