Lizard silliness
I decided to give Asterix some fruit baby food today. Me and my sister located him from behind a flowerpot, and took him on my hand, since I always try to feed him with a spoon first, and that might be tricky to get behind the pot.
Asterix, sitting on my hand: Huh? What's that? A spoon? Eek! If I hang from this hand upside down, it can't see me!
Me: On no, don't fall! *turns Asterix the right way around*
Asterix: What's that? Food on spoon? *licks* And that hand holding the spoon is a bit higher than this hand! *leaps like a little frog*
Me: Well, how are you going to eat now? Hey, where are you going?
Asterix, running up my arm: Up, as far up as I can get!
Me: Not my hair! *gives spoon over to sister to pull hair up*
Asterix: Wow, now someone else has the spoon! And another head full of hair! Must get! *Another froglike jump*
Sister: Eep!
I gave Asterix my hand to get him away from sister's shoulder (Higher up? Must climb!) and placed him near the terrarium, so he could take his next jump gloriously into the empty air inside it, and manage to - somehow - land on the plastic vine. When I started misting the air with the plant mister, he decided he was not going to endure rain and run quickly into one of his hiding places.
