Snake actually outperformed Cloud on the last two days of the contest and took second. Not quite a 'miracle', just enough to make me look like I wasn't paying attention. On the first day Zack fares (ba-dum CHING) very well against Zidane. My worry that Zidane's surprise advancement would weaken him was unfounded. Zack lives up to his estimation as the 'new Vincent' and there's nothing keeping him from the finals now. Meanwhile Link makes Wario look pathetic.

Division 2 had none of the dramatic upsets of Division 1. All four matches go just as planned with only Zelda advancing costing me a point I had wagered on Knuckles.
