Division 2 - 22/9/08 - 25/9/08
Division 2 had none of the dramatic upsets of Division 1. All four matches go just as planned with only Zelda advancing costing me a point I had wagered on Knuckles. I had assumed Mario would weaken Zelda enough for Knuckles to slip through but I think I was mistaken: Mario is stronger than Zelda as a character but Zelda gets Nintendo voter priority as a series. If anything Zelda would have been weakening Mario, not the other way around... but on the other hand this double-Nintendo advancement gives me more confidence in my Sephiroth/Tifa pick in Division 8.
The main thing I noted this week was that the upsets of Division 1 destroyed pretty much all the brackets: there were only nineteen perfect brackets left after four matches and four perfect brackets after five matches. Now by the eighth match there are none.
So, Mudkips. I herd some people liek them. Mud Kip Mud Kip Mud Kip.
