I recently upgraded my LJ account to the free one with ads. I figured they wouldn't bother me as long as they weren't flashy ads that slowed down my scrolling, and so far it hasn't been a bother. I've even seen ads for things I would buy.

Yesterday I attended Can't Stop the Serenity with bammba_m and I had just a really, really good time. No blow-by-blow this time:

I just watched the first two acts of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and I quite like it. Also, one can tell by comparing this to "Once More With Feeling" (as I'm sure all of Whedon's slaves are doing in excessive detail) that Joss has grown in this area. The telltale sign? Two characters singing in harmony for more than a minute.

Also, go NPH!

A couple months ago, I started watching all of Buffy again. Of course, when I got to season 3, I started watching Angel, meshing the episodes of each. I love both shows, but I forgot just what a commitment 11 1/2 seasons of television can be.
