Today, or rather yesterday but I just got home, I'm happy because I went to a friend's house to watch a streaming Rifftrax with "the gang." This is day 6, isn't it? Anyhow, I'm happy today because I finished the first draft of "Labor of Love." It clocked in at a little over 13 pages and around 9000 words. That's longer than I expected it to run. I've done the second edit on the first four chapters, tightening the characterization, adding in things I thought of later, and removing ( Read more... )

So, continuing the meme: A thing that made me happy today was getting some more work done on the fic I've been writing, which at 12 pages is running longer than I expected.
