Fic meme time.
I've got another manuscript to beat into shape over the next few months. Writing this thing was a bear and I don't want to tackle anything else this big for a while. Time for a silly fanfic meme like this one, which I snagged from beckyh2112:
Pick a paragraph (or any passage less than 500 words) from any fanfic I've written, and comment to this post with that selection. I will then give you a DVD commentary on that snippet: what I was thinking when I wrote it, why I wrote it in the first place, what's going on in the character's heads, why I chose certain words, what this moment means in the context of the rest of the fic, bad jokes, and anything else that you'd expect to find on a DVD commentary track.
I have close to two decades' worth of fic up in The Negapage. It'd be interesting to see if I can remember anything about stuff I wrote that long ago.
