A friend of mine just sent out a note that his 9-year old Malamute passed away. She had cancer, they had only found out last week. Just before Christmas he lost a cat, and shortly before they found cancer in another one of his dogs. These people love their pets so much. I just checked my marks from last term, and while my Canadian Studies wasn't posted yet, I got an A in Astronomy! I don't know exactly how I did on the exam and I'll never be able to find that out, but it was good enough! Woo-freakin-hoo!!!!

I wrote my final planetary astronomy today - no school until January now! I was so happy to be done with school for now that I forgot to pick up my Canadian Studies assignment and I also forgot to return my library books - ah well, that's what tomorrow is for ( Read more... )

I am having a kick-butt school day today. I wrote my last Astronomy test, and then I realized that the number that I had gotten for my mid-term exam wasn't a percentage, it was the raw score. School is completely kicking my butt. I had my first exam on Friday, it was the evil one where I had the question a week in advance. Unfortunately I was completely incapable of forming coherent thoughts on Friday. I even took a second notebook so that I could write down my point form sketch before starting the damn essay. I had a really good day at school today. Was a little rushed to get there for 8:30!! Puppy had us up at 4 this morning, so I didn't get much sleep. Class was out by 10:00 rather than 11:30 so I got back to work much earlier than expected. Had several surreal moments on campus.
