Have you ever thought of the logistics of walking two rather energetic dogs and a toddler? Not my favorite activity. Take today as an example, get home and get ready to walk the dogs. A while ago hubby and I discovered that we were over-feeding the dogs. He would feed them at 4:30, they would polish it off, and by the time I got up at 7:30 I would feed them again. He solved this this weekend by adding some magnets to the lid of their food bin so we can mark off if they've been fed in the am and pm ( Read more... )

We've had Sasha for about two weeks now and things are going fairly well. She and Chet still aren't best buds, due mainly to her habit of growling at him if he walks by while she is sleeping. Man, I'd better be pregnant! Otherwise I have no excuse at all for being so tired. I napped Saturday afternoon, then fell asleep at 8:30 - 9:00 Saturday night and I didn't wake up until 5:30 Sunday morning. A couple of days ago hubby went to remove Chet's collar (he loves full neck scritches - Chet that is, and the metal clasp broke. Bits and springs were located, collar reassembled, and duct tape was applied liberally.
