Hi, uh. Long time no see? Well, it's not really a come back. I've not really been gone, only been lurking a lot trying to keep up with everyone here. It's true that I can't spend that much time on LJ, though. Having not that much free time between taking care of my parents, working too much and sleeping instead of keeping awake on american hours. Mostly, here's a bunch of practice watercolours, with very few artistic interest! Either I was too ambitious and overworked the picture, or I just wanted to paint a quick thing on a small format because I feel like I'm too detail-driven and need to practice spontaneity, if that's possible :)

The Saint Auban area is as gorgeous, changing and disconcerting as a fantasy world. There are trees and mountains and small villages clutching to steep slopes, incredibly cute stone bridges and terrible storms! It was great to walk around.

So we went camping in the most remote place ever! Only a few old people living year long in the villages, and not many tourists either! Which is exactly what I needed.

So, this feels like the end of the summer. I know the warm days are not over, and the sunset is still reasonably late, but still... And I won't be able to ignore uni anymore after next sunday.
