Maryjane went up to swing in the chair swing she'd bought me. I went in the house with the lumber and slid them under the countertop. Maryjane wasn't up yet, so I went down to the pond. It's so lovely down there. I only counted fifty something toads and two leopard frogs. No new blue heron tracks though. I stacked some of the rocks up along the side of the terraces. It really looks nice there now ( Read more... )

AFter emptying the tool shelf into a cupboard, I got out the handy chisel and hammer again and dug into the wooden shelving unit to remove the nails. It was nowhere near as hard as removing the one on the southeast wall, but it was hard enough ( Read more... )

It was a gorgeous day outside, but Maryjane and I worked on the kitchen all day. We took down the wooden cupboard shelving that was nailed onto the wall with spikes. We had to beat the chisel into the wood, destroying the wood, to get hold of the nails with the hammer ( Read more... )
