I drove all day after church and made it all the way through WV up to the top of the state. I stopped a few times. It was a rainy, misty day. The interstates and highways through WV are very curvy and hilly. We would have stopped beside the water on our way to find a restaurant, a bayou on the way down from 98 to Perdido Key, but I imagined aligators.

Debbie in her Art and Junk store in Grayton Beach area said an alligator had come up on her beach the other day in Fort Walton and now she can't let her grandbabies swim in there anymore.
