I just got back From MERA. I had such a good time there today. I really enjoy all the people that go. I have a hard time deciding which group to be with. The weavers are wonderful people who do such interesting things! I love the weavers; they're such nice people. Yesterday I went to mera and made, or started a pair of felted slipper boot liners. I started to felt them, but it didn't get too far. So I brought it home, all rolled up around a floating squeezy tube, in a plastic bag and tied it up with string, then put it in the dryer with a whole lot of tennis balls, on air ( Read more... )

Back in the summer, I made five antler handled baskets. I used ash straps for one of them. I didn't like the bright light colour, so I stained it with MinWax which I had on hand. It's a nice deep brown now ( Read more... )
