Giving upon organizing the contents of the upstairs room, I went over to Ankaret's. She's such an awesome woman! She wanted to review how to do spiral weaving, so we watched some videos. Elder Ballard spoke to us in Ontario, the whole mission, I believe. It was an awesome talk. I was really moved to action in my life. He is an apostle and spoke to us like Paul did in his epistles to the various congregations. I enjoyed going over to the cafe at Mera this morning. Ankaret took me over to look at her museum. I'm going to be a volunteer to help teach in her workshops. :) I talked with her about making a sedge basket. I'm quite interested in doing this. I'd like to coil one. Ankaret called me the other day to ask if I'd be able to help teach the children to make baskets at my children's old elementary school. So I got up early, turned on the car, which was the most difficult it has been for several years. About an hour later when I went to leave, it was -27C! I took photos of the stream.
