I've just been wallowing in a depression for a while. I'm working to pull myself out.

Eric just got a new job.

It's a long term temp assignment, expected to last 2 to 3 months, but hey the pay is good and it's in El Segundo, so it won't be a long drive.

He had the interview today, and they called his headhunter less than an hour after he left.

Hopefully this will turn into something good, or at least let us breathe for a while.

Well, I made it through the day. It was quiet due to the fact that the server that our website is on had a hardware malfunction and it's in the boss's home town of Stratford Ontario, so it's not in a place where I can do anything about it but wait ( Read more... )

Every time I start getting down about the frustrations at work (being by myself for hours, low sales, etc.) I just go over to the LJ comm 'Customerssuck' and I feel better.

I don't have to deal with expired coupons, screaming kids, or people bringing in items they bought at another store for refunds.

And I get to help people feel beautiful!
