Discoveries at Work
We had a guy come in today to set us up with a new POS, and while he was training us on the system we heard a big buzz and then the power went out for about 30 seconds before it came back on.
It was then I realized that we don't have a UPS for our computers.
The nice fireman who came in our back door a few minutes after that asked us if we were ok, and confirmed that one of the transformers had blown.
Thankfully, nothing bad happened this time and the systems came back up without a problem, but I'm going to make getting a UPS a priority for the office.
