Well, I did it. I got in all the applications I need to for colleges and scholarships and whatnot.

Now comes the part where I have to wait for the letters saying whether or not I've been accepted.

...I almost think this part is going to be worse than the crazy paperwork.

In the few hours since I woke up I've already gotten into a fight with my landlord, broke the heel of my favorite boots, and accidentally wiped all the music I was loading onto my iPod. My roses wilted. We finally had to get rid of them.

I've never felt so sad to have to dispose of dying flowers.

I can't take this. With all that has happened this last week, I nearly forgot my birthday is next Tuesday. Birthdays have, over the years, become less and less exciting as they drew closer.
