Every Rose Has Its Thorn
In the few hours since I woke up I've already gotten into a fight with my landlord, broke the heel of my favorite boots, and accidentally wiped all the music I was loading onto my iPod. I think my computer has a virus or something. At least I was able to finish the gift iPod's I was making mixes for before I got the blue screen of death. Oh, and I found out my band mates are doubting my rock chick cred ever since finding out I was a cheerleader in high school, which is total bull because cheerleaders can absolutely rock socks.
Doing research for a project, I was highly amused to discover some bands named after Arthurian legend - Arthur is alt-rock, Galahad is prog rock, Kamelot is made of win if you dig power metal, Merlin is Russian death metal, Mordred is thrash metal, and Percival is alt-country. I found one named Lancelot too, but they're pretty obscure unless you want to wade through the crapfest that is the MySpace music site.
I hate being nervous about giving gifts, especially when I worked so hard on them.
