Yay! This is the best day of the year, because it marks the beginning of late night daylight days. You know what I mean...

I'm in California now, and I don't know quite what to think about that. A part of me feels like its too easy to live somewhere where there isn't any winter to speak of. This is my last study term, and I have to do my senior project.

Its not a big deal, so I am not too worried. The only real problem is listening to people complain about it. For four years I have been hearing horror stories about senior project, and dreading doing it myself.

There's nothing to worry about. 20 pages and some experiments.

I'm done banding birds now, probably for life. It feels good. Now I have to engage myself in some serious tedium for the next day or two finishing up paperwork, then I will be truly done ( Read more... )

Zachary is coming to Texas!

And I found someone to go dumpster diving with in Austin!

I found a bug in my pants yesterday, so I smashed it, because I couldn't remove it safely and I wasn't sure if it was a tick or not. So, turns out, it was some kind of caterpillar with the horrible toxins in it, and now my leg is dying due to profuse blistering.
