Just finished the first Arya chapter of AFfC.  I'd forgotten how much I love Martin's writing.  And this book doesn't disapoint from the outset.  The first 100 pages are as enthralling as the other books have been - so much so that I can barely put the book down.  It's a good thing.  I'd hate to have waited this long to be let down ( Read more... )

The shirt is pressed.  The tie is on.  The pants are disturbingly tight around the waist, but nothing a trusty belt doesn't help rectify.  I'm glad we're starting our running regiment tonight.  I'm getting fat(er).  It's 1pm as of now and I'm as ready as I'll ever be I think.  Here goes nothing.

Two job interviews this week.
