Just finished the first Arya chapter of AFfC. I'd forgotten how much I love Martin's writing. And this book doesn't disapoint from the outset. The first 100 pages are as enthralling as the other books have been - so much so that I can barely put the book down. It's a good thing. I'd hate to have waited this long to be let down.
Today is (potentially) d-day. Renison indicated that they were hoping to have a decision made by today. My heart is pounding in my chest and I'm having trouble distracting myself from watching the clock. Gah. The anticipation. Gah!!!
In other news, Justicar (my undead warrior on Lothar) hit level 20 last night. Having fun with it still, but leveling is starting to slow down and the quests are starting to spread out over larger areas making the immediate rewards less frequent. Got some nifty items, though, and I'm really starting to enjoy the customization that comes with careful selection of bonuses and talents.
