My wine and cheese party was a success! I managed to get all my party preparations done early so the apartment was clean and filled with food and alcohol by the time guests actually arrived. I swung by one of my local grocery stores and spotted Duncan Hines cake mix for my all time favorite kind of cake: Red Velvet cake. Needless to say, I purchased it immediately (along with some cream cheese frosting) and made for myself some incredibly delicious red velvet cake.
