The future is a cake that may never come.
My wine and cheese party was a success! I managed to get all my party preparations done early so the apartment was clean and filled with food and alcohol by the time guests actually arrived. Friend A came over to help and hang out with me until people started showing up, and I think everyone had a good time. I invited a whole lot of people anticipating very few to actually come, and that is what happened so yay! My apartment is not huge and cannot handle that many people, so it worked out well.
Now I have a metric ton of beer sitting in my fridge. I am okay with that.
There's been a lot of movement in my schedule recently and a lot of uncertainty, but I think this upcoming week that should finally settle down. This is good, for I am a creature of habit and routine soothes me.
Mass Effect 2 comes out on the 26th! (Tuesday). Thank goodness there's a Gamestop within easy walking distance that I can go to in order to purchase on the day it comes out like the overeager dork I am. I probably won't be able to play until very late that evening, but I am excited omg.
