I had a water bottle in my bag today when I went to my writer's group meeting and I guess there was a leak or something, because water got over everything. My papers and my book. The bright side is that everything is still legible. The not so bright side is that everything is wet and turning pages will be interesting.

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone has a great year!

I meant to post about this last week, but then I got busy. I saw Sherlock Holmes 2 last week and it was really good. Not as funny as the first one, but then the subject matter was much more serious and dark. It's the big confrontation with Moriarty, and they handled it really well. 1) I have a great Thanksgiving with my family. We watched movies, read, and basically relaxed. Mom was a bit worried about the turkey, as we didn't find much white meat on it. The fireworks have begun already. Oh joy. I'll be glad when the weekend is over so they will stop upsetting my puppy.
