Work has been kind of slow, not that I'm complaining. After asking for additional projects and what not, I use my spare time completing this journal, filling in big gaps in my entries (i.e. 2009, the year when I did almost no blogging). Started training with Redbox, the company I'm now working with. They rent out DVDs for a dollar a day in those little redbox machines you ocassionally see outside supermarkets and grocery stores. I work for their customer service call center. They only have one, which services the entire US, and it's in Downers Grove, IL.

He is cute enough, but he is a Mejica and we may be possibly related (not by blood, but by my Tita's marriage to another Mejica). To commemorate our completion of training, our TL (Team Leader) organized our graduation party at the breakroom of APAC with pizza, puto and a cake. He lloks kind of weird, with his rebonded hair, but he is very nice and supportive to us and we all like him ( Read more... )

Just came back from work. It's our first day on the floor, and so far it's been okay. Haggard, but okay. The account is easy to learn so it's not too stressful... so far. I tagged along with Macri and her family as her parents celebrated their wedding anniversary at Trinoma. I love Macri and her family. They seem to have adopted me during these times when I was lacking parent figures. Her siblings are adorable, and look up to me. We had lunch at Conti's in Trinoma.
