Thesis Excitement
I am very excited and at the same time tense about my thesis. I have just secured the location, and I didn't even have to pay for it! It's an upscale condo unit over at Lahug, on the mountainside. It's a luzury Condo complex designed for expats and rich Cebuanos. I have been looking for a location that most resembles an "American Home", and this was the best canditate. The owner, a fierce-looking but nice Singaporean lady, allowed me to shoot in the model unit if I created an AVP for them.
Rehearsals have been working out well; I like the chemistry between Tita Bambi and Angela. Tita Bambi is pretty experienced, and even ad-libs in Ilonggo, and Angela is just a natural. It also helps that they resemble each other pretty well. I am very satisfied with the casting.
I have been making the props with the help of JV, creating medicine boxes for the mom character, and looking for a biscuit
recipe for the biscuits that the mom characters loves to make. I have also been working with jv for props for Rob's thesis, which we are shooting in a few days. It's hard because it's a period film, supposedly in Cambodia. I am glad because we found the perfect location though.
S is very excited for me, and I am very excited for him and his upcoming project as well, which for now is top secret.
