It's actually been a remarkable day on Social Media. I ended up having a pretty cool and thoughtful conversation with an o-fic author I adore and a fanfic author I adore, so that was freaking awesome.

So I seem to have volunteered to help write a musical. A 30-minute Zoom musical for kids ages 12~18 for a church theatre camp. I pitched an idea, came up with a concept and characters, and started writing the first scene up to the first song. This week, I'll write the first song (words only!) and integrate comments. *waves* June Gloom is certainly living up to its name.Yesterday, morning walkies occurred in a fine mist that got as heavy as sprinkling, but mostly it was just grey and cold and blech. Today, morning walkies were grey but dry and reasonably warm, but the grey turned cold and drippy while I was on the bus to work and intensified into light rain. ( Read more... )

I ended up doing a bonus shift distributing exams whilst covering for an ill colleague. Good thing my colleague didn't attempt that shift because I set a personal record for most number of students helped (147) in two hours, and loads of those students were picking up more than one exam. I'm pleased to report that my back felt much better by the end of the day yesterday, and last night's sleep made it no worse.
