Last night Naz, Miho and I watched three taped episodes of America's Next Top Model, like the total whores we are. We drank wine and ate popcorn and giggled and talked crap. Also, it's official. I get sick once a month. Be it allergies, a cold, or just my body reminding me how much it wants to die . . . I feel like total congested crap at least 2 days out of every month. It's like my nasal passasges are working to put me out of my misery. Dammit, work harder or give up, you piece of crap nasal passages!!!!!

So my grandma's side of the family has this thing against nicknames, or even shortening the name of a family member. James was never Jimmy, John never Jack or even Johnny, Richard, Horace, Etheline, etc, all the full given name. I'm in Maine right now, by the way. It's very strange, I'm hanging out with my grandmothers side of the family . . . they are weird, uber-smart people who call eachother "Lub" and cook traditional Korean dinners or take us out to the Lobster Shack, depending on how they feel. I saw Beck at Roy Wilkins on Monday. I must say it was the most sub par of the six shows I've seen, but it was still fun. He surprised us all with several selections from Odelay and Mellowgold, which was nice (he did "Truck Driving Neighbor Downstairs!"). Because I have copious amounts of free time and I like little inane projects, I decided to clean my pennies today. But and odd thing happened; half of my pennies became shiney and new-looking, almost golden. And the OTHER half of my pennies turned black. Solidly black.
