It's been a looong couple of weeks.

Work and the kids' school have combined to suck most of my free time since March began, and while one major item finished today (middle school musical) we've got two more ahead of us (district band festival and the elementary school choral presentation).

I'll be happier when my life recovers.

I know it's been a long time between entries, but there have been reasons.

Like more emergencies around the house (a hose under the bathroom sink leaking, for instance), and early Summer Vacation schlepping from one activity to the next.  (I swear I've been driving more these past three weeks of S.V. than I've driven the 3 months prior to it.)

The thing that I get annoyed with about being in my 40s is that I'm no longer able to spring right up after sitting cross legged on the floor (or lying down on the floor for that matter).  I have to shake my limbs to get feeling back in them, and then get up.
