PT for my bladder is going well. Seems that I can now sneeze without wetting myself. And I don't need to go as often to the bathroom either. This progress is right on schedule as I think it's been about 6 weeks of PT and the therapist said I should start seeing results now ( Read more... )

I very much needed a new wardrobe to go with my post-pregnancy body. I'm seeming to be holding on to the shape of being a size 8 with a gradual (oh so gradual) move down to a size six (that's the goal, it's the pre-pregnancy size). But that's about pant size. So I was dealing OK with all the changes to my body. I mean, what's the problem with a cup size that is in the second half of the alphabet? (ok, joking, a little) And besides, even though I'm less than 5 feet tall having an enormous baby bump is kind of cute. So all this healthy eating, getting sleep and going to the gym seems to be paying off. I can fit into pants that are several sizes smaller than the one that fit me when I started this effort. Dropping back three pant sizes isn't too bad. :)

I'm not a huge fan of daily tracking my weight...but they say it helps with weight loss, same with the food diary and so I'm doing it. But what I learned from the week of Thanksgiving is that I absolutely MUST exercise if I'm going to lose weight. Diet control is really tough for me and I bounce from high calorie to low calorie days all the time. ( Read more... )

Wanted to get a walk in yesterday, but with the rain that didn't happen. So this morning we woke up and took a walk right away and were out and about for almost 2 hours. I'm getting the hang of my meal/food tracker. It's not genius, but it isn't terrible either and I use it - so that counts for about 1000% more than it being able to do lots of cool fancy things ( Read more... )
