doc_mystery and I have been on Carribean vacations before, but only one other since our kid was born.  Usually, someone gets sick.  And this one was no exception.  This is the main reason why I am anxious about such trips.  If I'm going to be sick (or nurse a sick kid), I'd rather do it at home.

This time last week, I was horseback-riding in the (albeit very dry) rainforest in the Carribean.  It was about 30degrees Celsius and sunny.  I got a sunburn.

This is too hard.

I hope to make a larger post soon, but I have to run off to work in a few minutes.  Here is a brief list of DO's and DON'Ts for a cruise;

DON'T;

- get sick on a cruise.  You will get no sympathy from the crew and will be treated as the infectious vector that you are.
- bring a lot of t-shirts.  You can buy plenty (cheaply) on the ship and in ports
