Late this afternoon I went for a little ride around the loop.   The sky was getting dark and I knew it would probably rain soon, but I didn’t think we’d get the down pour that we did.

As I rounded the corner I spotted ahead of me these Hibiscus flowers. I thought they seemed to be motioning and saying "Come hither," in a very seductive way.

I went out early this morning just after sunrise.  I got a nice walk in at Robinson Preserve and still had some time before I had to be home.   I stopped by Palma Sola Botanical Park and was there for about 10 minutes by the first pond and suddenly the loud piercing call of a Great Blue Heron cut through the quietness.  He flew overhead, circling ( Read more... )
