Last night I got together with several of my friends from high school. It was really good to see them all; hadn't seen or really talked to any of them since LAST winter break. The HP convention in 2009 is going to be SAN JOSE! We can totally stay at my place! I'd send my parents out of town for the weekend and we'd party it up.

I had an awesome weekend at home. My dad was completely surprised to see me, which was really fun. Then, on Saturday, we had a surprise party for him. The guest list included some family, work friends of my dad's, and a lot of my parents' church friends. Home Sweet Home.

I'm moving out. My walls are naked again. Boxes are piled up like cardboard snowbanks. It's not home anymore. It was for the last nine months, but home is far away now, in San Jose. But at the same time, it's so close I can taste it.
